Welcome to Heartland Veterinary Service of Oberlin! We are a full service veterinary clinic providing comprehensive care to large and small animals in Oberlin, as well as northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska. Located just north of the sale barn and across from the airport, our clinic has a fully operational haul-in facility for high volume large animal work including an updated dual load out facility on premise for ease and convenience of our large animal clients. We also have small animal exam and surgery rooms to be able to provide the best care possible, no matter what the size of the animal!
At Heartland Veterinary Service we consider you and your animal as part of our family. We have two full-time veterinarians committed to providing the finest healthcare to our clients. To best serve you we take appointments during our regular business hours, and are available 24 hours a day for emergency situations and to answer any questions you might have.

We provide large animal services to a wide variety of animals including cattle, horses, pigs, and small ruminants. We do offer farm calls and have a transportable chute.
We have a veterinarian on call 24/7 to respond to any medical or surgical emergency your pet may have.

We provide small animal services to a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, and more. Our services include wellness exams and surgeries, as well as boarding and grooming services.
To provide you with the fastest answers to your animal’s health, we are equipped to do general health blood work while you wait, as well as many other blood sample and lab analyses. Our on-site x-ray availability enables us to provide great care for those accidents and injuries.
